The advantages of a boat lift
- A boat lift makes boating easier and cheaper, and you always have access to your boat.
- No need for toxic or ineffective bottom paint.
- No mooring buoy or chain that can break in a storm.
- The boat is safely stored above the water surface.
- Minimal theft risk and lower insurance premiums.
- Decide yourself when to lift the boat in and out all year round.
- Save a lot of time and money by storing your boat on the lift year-round.
Green Marine has the right boat lift for you
We offer three types of boat lifts. Two of the models – the dock lift and the piling lift – are powered by one or more electric motors (single or three-phase), which are controlled via remote control. The third model uses a hydraulic piston powered by a 12V battery charged by a solar panel. This model is also controlled with a remote (2 included).
Dock Lift
Suitable where there is a fixed dock (can also be bolted to a rock wall).
Two aluminum beams are driven into the seabed at approximately a 22-degree angle, which means minimal load on the dock. It can also be configured as a vertical lift if the dock can support it. The dock becomes more stable with a lift! The boat rests in a cradle that moves up and down on wheels along the beams.
Piling Lift
Wooden piles are driven into the seabed – from four up to eight of them. The bottom should consist of at least 2 meters of clay or sand for stability. If the seabed is rocky, steel pipes are drilled instead. If you have a fixed U-shaped dock, piling is not needed (see image under piling lifts).
Aluminum beams hanging on stainless steel wires lift the boat straight up.
Hydraulic Boat Lift
The lift stands on four plates that can be adjusted to follow the bottom, best suited for relatively flat seabeds. The cradle holding the boat is lifted hydraulically. When lowered, the lift is barely visible as it is entirely under the surface.
The hydraulics are powered by a battery charged by a solar panel, so no permanent electrical installation is needed.
