Green Marine has the boat lift for you
We offer three types of boat lifts. Two of the models – the dock lift and post lift – are powered by one or more electric motors (single or three-phase), and can be operated via remote control. The third model is powered hydraulically by a 12V battery, which is charged by a solar panel. This one is also remote-controlled.
Dock Lift
Suitable where there is a fixed dock (can also be bolted into a rock wall).
Two aluminum beams are driven into the bottom at about a 22-degree angle, minimizing the load on the dock. Can also be made vertical if the dock can handle it. A lift stabilizes the dock! The boat rests in a cradle that runs on wheels up and down along the beams.
Post Lift
Wooden posts are driven into the bottom – from four to eight pieces. The bottom should consist of at least 2 meters of clay or sand for stability. If there’s a fixed U-shaped dock, you can skip piling (see picture under post lifts). Aluminum beams hanging from stainless steel cables lift the boat straight up.
Hydraulic Boat Lift
The lift stands on four plates that can be adjusted to follow the bottom – best suited for relatively even bottoms. The cradle that the boat rests in is lifted hydraulically. When lowered, the lift is nearly invisible, as it sits completely underwater. The hydraulic system is powered by a battery charged by a solar panel – no fixed electrical installation needed.
