Green Marine is headquartered in Stockholm and installs boat lifts across the entire Stockholm area and archipelago. We have mounted dock lifts on Lidingö, rock mounted on Ingarö and delivered several lifts in Skurusundet.

Archipelago conditions

Conditions vary sharply between sites in the archipelago. On rocky shores the lift can be bolted directly to rock, while clay bottoms often suit a piling lift. In narrow sounds and channels vertical lifts take less sideways space, and in shallower spots a high profile or freestanding lift on adjustable legs is chosen.

Dock, rock or piling

Dock lift – against a stable dock, quay or rock wall. Beams transfer the load to the bottom.
Rock mount – bolted directly to rock, common in the archipelago (e.g. Ingarö).
Piling lift – for clay bottoms and larger boats. Pile-driven posts at least 2 m down.
Freestanding lift – for shallower water and uneven bottom.

Ice and winter in the Stockholm archipelago

Stockholm winters mean ice. With an ice bubbler you keep the water ice-free around lift and dock, protecting both structure and dock and letting the boat remain lifted all winter.
